What did you find difficult about this task?
While doing this task I found that getting the right shot and angle was the hardest part! But I also think that making sure what we was filming looked right in the end was just as hard, if something was moved or changed it could make the whole scene look funny. I think also that as i was one of the actors, I had to make sure I was pulling the right facial expression and not laughing so it didn't spoil the whole take.
What worked well?
I believe that the shots like the match-on-action and filming we did worked well because we came across a few problems and once we had over come them everything fell into place and worked brilliantly. We kept to the 180 degree rule and with the good editing we came up with a good piece of work.
What could you or your team do better?
I think our team could of done a lot better because where things had gone wrong when we filming, we then had to cut big chunks out which messed it up even more, we then decided to film the whole thing again without any mistakes. We should have got it right first time and maybe even used a better conversation to make our piece a bit more entertaining. But in the end everything was sorted and finished.
What new skills have you acquired or developed?
I have developed my skills on how much concentration must go into making a good film, I have realised there is more to it that just pressing record. I have also acquired skills on how to use the Apple Mac's as I had never used one before, now I am wiser about how they work and the editing programme they have.
Overall I think eventually our continuity piece worked well and we achieved what we wanted to achieve.
